Two octavo volumes, each illustrated with engraved frontispieces and thirty of thirty-two full page plates, lacking two plates in second volume; bound in uniform modern parchment bindings in period style; edges sprinkled red, later end leaves; worming in first volume with loss of some text lines and one image, (signatures Kk-Ll) marginal worming damaged repaired, some closed tears; minor paper flaws; engraved title in first volume with edge repairs; engraved title in second volume mounted; bottom outside corner of Ee1 (page 433/434) in second volume torn with loss to six lines; 6 3/4 x 4 1/4 in.
